Erick Menendez, Tennis

Erick Menendez is our male student-athlete for the month of May. Erick has four varsity letters in Tennis for DeLand High School. He is an active member of Leadership, National Honor Society and Reniassance. He is also the Co-Publicist of the Senior Class Student Government Association. Erick has over 1,000 hours of community service volunteering at the Saint Peter's Catholic Church in DeLand. Erick is dual-enrolled at Daytona State, and takes AP classes all while maintaining a 3.76 GPA putting him in the top 25% of his graduating class. He is an active Student Athletic Trainer and could be seen on most sidelines during his senior year. Erick enlisted in the US Army and is shipping July 2nd to Fort Jackson, South Carolina. His MOS is 68W and his ultimate goal is become a Combat Medic before attending OCS with a degree in Medicine.
