Girls Flag Football Beats Apopka for District Championship! 18-7!

Isabella Smith started the game by intercepting Apopka on the first play of the game and running it back for a TD.

Alissia was 16 of 24 passing for 161 yards, 1 TD and 0 INTs.  She also had 4 carries for 13 yards and a TD.

Ariel Kennedy had 3 catches for 67 yards including a 39 yard TD that gave us the lead back.

Emily Flores led the defense with 6 tackles and also had 5 catches on offense for 28 yards.

Skylar Minsky had 4 catches for 29 yards, 3 carries for 9 yards, 4 tackles and a second half interception that pretty much sealed the game.

Alison Baker had 4 catches for 23 yards, two of which were big first downs when we needed them.

This is Coach Dowdell's First District Title as Head Coach! 

Flag Football will host Fleming Island on Friday, May 12th for the Regional Semi-Finals. More information about that to come.
