Bio

A native of Central Florida, Folsom has seven years of coaching experience, most recently as an assistant coach at Deland under head coach Jason Baker during the 2014-2015 season.  He has spent the last 7 years as a youth wrestling coach for the Police Athletic League and DeLand Parks and Recreation.

Folsom graduated from Deltona High School and then served in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. After graduating from UCF, Folsom worked as the Senior Art Director at Recoton Corporation for 5 years designing and branding multiple consumer electronic brands.  In 2003 he co-founded Technetium Creative, a branding and design firm in Orlando, Fl.; for more than 11 years, Folsom was integral in the development of brands for such well-known names as Alienware, Acoustic Research, Audiovox, Boyz 2 Men, GameShark, JENSEN, SOUL by Ludacris and NYKO. In 2014, Folsom became the Graphic Art and Design Academy Director for Deltona High School.

Currently, Folsom works as a career and technology teacher at DeLand High School. Folsom and his wife, Lori, have a daughter Courtney, and two sons, Joshua and Justin.
