Varsity Girls' Tennis Wins 5-Star (First Time in 15 Years!)

Anchored by wins from its top two singles players, DeLand won the Five Star Conference girls tennis tournament by a single point over Seabreeze. Lizzy Allen swept the Number 1 singles final against FPC's Tina Grundner (6-2, 6-0), while Allison Teixeira rallied from a set down and survived a 10-5 tiebreak in the hird set to win at No. 2 singles. The team of Sarah Trawick and Jazmin McShane wrapped up the title with a straight-set victory over University's duo.
