Zach Spivey set to Lead Bulldog Baseball Program to Next Level

Please extend a warm welcome to Zach Spivey, our new baseball coach.  Here is some great information on Coach!!

Born in Orlando Florida but raised in Volusia County. Spivey attended Spruce Creek High School. During his time at Spruce Creek, they won a state championship in 2012 under Johnny Goodrich.

After high school, Zach played at the Division 1 level for all 4 years at two different Universities. At Florida Gulf Coast University, he was recognized for making the "ASUN All-Freshman Team" in 2015.

In 2019 at Bethune-University, Spivey was recognized for making the "Preseason All-MEAC Team".  After his playing career, he became an assistant coach at New Smyrna Beach High School and Deland High School.  Spivey is currently a teacher at Deland High School while also being a coach during the summer in the Orlando Scorpions Organization.
