Congrats to Adam & Madison: NAIA Champions of Character Nominees!

The NAIA Champions of Character program is designed to instill an understanding of character values in athletics, and provide student-athletes, coaches, and parents the training to help them know and do the right things, inside and outside the athletics setting... Our nominations for this award were Adam Wolcott and Madison Skelton.

Adam has lettered in Swimming for 2 years and Baseball for 2 years. He won the Rookie of the Year his Junior Year for Swimming and the Bulldog Award in Baseball his Junior Year. He is one of the current Captains of the Swim Team. Adam was selected for the FHSAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee on September 12th, 2018 to serve with three others in Section Two of Florida. Adam has over 250 hours of community service. Adam is president of International Baccalaureate Club, a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Renaissance. In his community, Adam is a member of School of Government and St. Peters Catholic Church Youth Group. He is a senior-leader with a 4.61 GPA and is ranked 9th in his graduating class. Adam's goal is to be an aerospace engineer and is considering his college choices. 

Madison has lettered in 4 years in Cross Country and 3 Years in Track. She is part of the National Honor Society and has been an IB student all four years. Madison received the MVP Award her Junior Year in Cross Country and the Coaches Award her Sophomore Year in Cross Country. Last year, Madison won 2nd Team All-Area for Cross Country. She has over 200 hours of community service volunteering for the Interfaith Soup Kitchen among other organizations. She is a Senior-Leader with a 4.61 placing her in the top 10 people of her graduating class. Madison will be attending an out-of-state college to pursue a career in the Medical Field.
