3 State Quals Out of 7 Regional Athletes!! Congrats Track/Field!

DeLand High brought 7 athletes to the Regional Qualifier at FPC this week in 9 events. Jiya Hastings is slated 9th in the  State right now as a Freshman and will complete at States in the Long Jump. Amberleigh Sauer will throw Discus AND Shot Put with her qualifying PRs of 118 feet in Discus and 11.37 meters in Shot. Enrique Flores, 12th, will compete in the High Jump on Saturday.
